Treatments-

There are many ways to alleviate pain and relieve the condition.

  • Hot or cold compression packs: These help alleviate pain and inflammation.
  • Painkillers: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs ( NSAIDs ) that are eaisly avaiable over the counter may reduce inflammation and decrease mild Pain.
  • Acetaminophen (Paracetamol, Tylenol) is suggested for elongated use and is also available to purchase online or Over the Counter. This may Lower the Pain.

Note – Not all painkillers are appropriate for each and every patient, therefore it’s important to discuss the options available which are best suited for you with your physician. Stronger pain relief medications are often only used for a brief period because they can cause side effects.

  • Corticosteroid Injections: A Steroid shot of cortisone is injected on your Shoulder directly to bring down the inflammation and Pain
  • Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS): Use of a modest battery-operated apparatus that lowers pain by blocking nerve impulses.
  • Physical therapy: Stretching and a range of Aerobic Exercises can be done which are taught by the physical therapist.

If the Above Treatments do not offer a decent response. Your Physician may Suggest-

  • Shoulder manipulation: Through this operation, you will be put to sound sleep, and your Doctor will induce motion to your Shoulder. This may bring the joint capsule to stretch or tear to loosen the stiffness. This may result in an increase in flexibility.
  • Shoulder arthroscopy: Your Surgeon will cut through the tight parts of your joint capsule (capsular release). Modest pencil-sized tools are inserted through tiny cuts around your Shoulder. And the Procedure is performed. This May Help your Shoulder to Free Up.
